The installation features comprehensive back to base monitoring, alarms, CCTV and PIN coded access control systems. A selection of the most popular Safety Deposit Box sizes are available, all in a custom fitted strong room located discretely within the building. After entering their personal PIN code and swinging open the vault room door, customers will be faced with a comfortably appointed Safety Deposit Box room including a table and chair where they can sort through their belongings before securing them in the Safety Deposit Box and exiting the room.

A new feature of the PIN coded access control system is that only one person at a time can be permitted to access the vault room, allowing customers to attend to their personal belongings privately and without interruption.

The unit mix is made up of large units for the growing commercial market and a section for lockers, where demand from students and apartments has been consistent filling these upper levels. The centre now has 817 units including the wine storage which has also been completed in the basement. The next project following a successful rent up of the ground floor is to convert the remaining 55 car park spaces in the basement to storage units as we take advantage of the Mt Eden site, located on the fringe of the Auckland CBD. Well done to Shane and Feroz for renting up their centre to justify this centre’s expansion. A s we conclude the 4th year since acquiring the Mt Eden site, the ground floor conversion project from car parking to storage units is now complete.
