The Stepping Stone House Sleep Under the Stars Campaign is now well underway. Due to Covid-19 restrictions Stepping Stone House have had to adapt their way of thinking and their approach to this years event, to accommodate todays environment. NEW LOOK, NEW FEEL AND WIDER REACH

From my very first visit to the actual move of semi trailers of stock, to setting up all the racking and organising my business to be a functional operating business, Malcolm and Geoff were outstanding! No request was a problem, in fact they even offered before I asked. Stress free, very professional, very helpful and only too eager to go the extra mile! W ith only about a week to go the virtual event will see partici- pants from all over Australia sleeping in their backyards, lounge rooms, cars and offices on Friday night the 30th October. Ideally with the comfort of a Kennards Box to keep them warm and help protect them from the elements. Our very own Kennards FREEDOM Fighters have been working fearlessly to raise money which will go to helping the young residents at the Stepping Stone House. In its five year history, the Sleep Under the Stars event has raised over 1.5 million dollars! Every $1.00 donated through Stepping Stone House generates a return of $3.40 through: - Reduction in Housing and Homeless Support. - Reduction in Hospitilisations. - Reduction in Mental Health support.

residents Alpha, after joining the house at 15 because of family breakdown, secure his Licence with the Drive To Freedom Program. (A program where volunteers, including our very own Darryl Hodgson give their time to teach their young residents to drive). After securing his Licence, Alpha purchased himself his own car with the money he saved through his work and further was able to secure his own independent rental. Upon graduating Stepping Stone he secured his dream job as a Disability Support Worker. He is deeply grateful for all the support he received at Stepping Stone House to help make this happen.
