H ello from Kennards Self Storage Cranbourne! We’re proud to be operating one of Victoria’s newest purpose-built KSS facilities, located in Melbourne’s beautiful south-eastern suburbs. Cranbourne is a rapidly expanding suburb that belongs to the City of Casey, and it has been a major growth area over the past 30 years with new housing estates and industrial developments popping up constantly. It is located 43kms south-east of Melbourne’s CBD and just 15kms from some of Melbourne’s best beaches. Gardens; 363 hectares of gardens and bushlands that native birds, mammals and reptiles of all kinds inhabit. There are also bustling shopping districts in the area, as well as some of Melbourne’s best restaurants. Our centre was a Christmas present to the Cranbourne area late last year, opening on December 22, 2022. The state of the art building is the first in Victoria to feature Kennards Self Storage’s newly designed office layout and the LED Size It room. The facility boasting 6,964 sqm of rentable space broken up into 674 units, ranging in sizes from lockers to mini warehouses. Growth has been consistent and steady since opening, and we’ve just achieved over 40% occupancy after only eight months in operation. We are excited to see that growth continue, as well as the planned retail and fast food development next door come to fruition in the near future. This combined storage and retail style development is the first of its kind for Victoria and presents a unique benefit to the centre bringing more traffic to the area.
