Tell us about your career background: I am a qualified CPA Australia Member, with two years of ACCA accounting lecturer experience, and five years as an Assistant Accountant. What do you enjoy doing when not at KSS? (Hobbies/ Interests)? I enjoy Yoga, painting and travel. What are you reading now? Not much! What are you watching now? Every night with my three year old daughter I watch Peppa Pig… What favourite foods or restaurant would you recommend? Huaiyang cuisine, one of the eight major cuisines in China. E.g. Crab Dumplings in Soup, Wensi Tofu. Where did you grow up and what was it like? I come from Jiangsu Province, China, it is close to Shanghai. My hometown is an ancient historical city with a lot of ancient buildings. There are several century-old morning tea restaurants in my hometown. We are proud of our history and culture. Favourite hangout people when not at work? My family and my friends. Favourite holiday destination or interesting place you’ve been to? Perth for the great seafood and the Pinnacles Dessert and the Caves. Japan for the Sushi and Matcha Ice Cream and the Ghibli Museum. Also the Deer in Nara are very cute!

Tell us about your career background: I spent six years in the Army before going to university. The beginning of my ‘proper career’ I spent several years working in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions with consulting firms before working for the Fantastic Furniture group of companies as the Corporate Affairs Manager. My previous role before joining KSS was the Head of Commercial Operations with Metcash/IGA. What do you enjoy doing when not at KSS? (Hobbies/ Interests)? Travelling and going to small playhouses. What are you reading now? Besides losing hours on Twitter, Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel. What are you watching now? Re-runs of Schitt’s Creek while waiting for the next season of Ted Lasso and Severance to start. What favourite foods or restaurant would you recommend? Gin and Tonic is a form of food isn’t it? Where did you grow up and what was it like? Split between the Western Suburbs of Sydney and the Central Coast (depending which parent I was staying with). I was the youngest child of three, so I was picked on a lot but otherwise pretty non-eventful. Favourite hangout people when not at work? Friends and family. Favourite holiday destination or interesting place you’ve been to? The most interesting place in the last five years would have to be Cuba.
