Now in its third month the Donate Your Unused Rent campaign is gaining traction. The program launched in December 2019 quickly gained popularity as signs started to pop up on countertops across our centres. It’s an easy no-fuss way for customers to help others. Donating either part or all of their unused rental returns. We’ve seen customers donate more than $120 to this great cause in a single transaction. In just two and a half months we’ve collectively raised $2,947 through our Australian Centres. In fact, we've even received offers from our New Zealand customers to help, sparking the intention for New Zealand centres to run a similar model. Stepping Stone House not only provides a long term home for these young people but supports them through counsel- ling, life skills, and education. They also support them until the age of 24. Their longstanding results are proof the model works. Last month Stepping Stone House featured on National SBS News, passion- ately talking about the need for a strategy to end youth homelessness in Australia and extend the support for young people in Out Of Home Care from 18 to 21 years. 2020 will be tough year for many Austra- lians and our not for profits especially. We are pleased to get behind this great cause in helping Stepping Stone House any way we can. Fiona Harding Business Development Manager & Kennards Ambassador for SUTS
