Some showing This reminds me of a previous Kourier article titled the “Broken Window Syndrome” a belief that if we maintain our properties to a high standard of presen- tation this sends a powerful message to our customers that we care and that some one is responsible, in turn our customers will treat our properties with the same care and respect. When people see that we care about the standard of our proper- ties, customers will believe we care about their goods in storage. Is behind and under the service counter clean and organised, is the tile grout in the toilets white, is inside the fridge and the microwave clean. Is the car park free of leaves? I’ve often turned up early at Pymble to use the Conference Room before the centre is open to find the Manager with the leaf blower on his back cleaning the car park. These are all little improvements that can add up to create an overwhelming impression for our customers.
