Name one thing that you think has made KSS the success it is today? Everyone works as a Team and Family. Tell us a bit about what you do outside of KSS? I love spending time with my family and my two dogs. Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time? Hopefully in a part time role so I get to spend more time with my family. What is your most memorable Customer Experience? It would have to be when a Customer at Camper- down dug out an area on the ground floor (The Pit) that was not in use and made it into his own “Spy Agency”. I spent 12 hours at the centre dealing with Police, Hazmat, Bomb Squad and many detectives. What would be your favourite holiday destination? It would have to be Hawaii, beautiful and relaxing. To sum up KSS in one word would be? Rewarding.

How long have you been part of the KSS team? Since October 13th, 2003, so 20 Years this year! How does it feel to be celebrating 20 years of service this year? It feels surreal, the saying “Time Flies” it sure does, so much has changed in the last 20 years in my life and at work. What would you say is the best part of your job? Every day is different, you deal with a lot of different people which makes your day interesting. When you help customers who are highly stressed and somewhat exhausted, and they thank you and give you a big hug because you have made a very stressful situation easy for them, that would have to be one of the best parts. What is the most valuable lesson you have learnt so far on your 20 year journey with KSS? It’s okay to get things wrong and make mistakes as there is always a Team Member there to help and guide you in the right direction. This is how you learn and grow and KSS allows you to do that without feeling guilty.
