SIX TYPES OF WORKING GENIUS

Enablement : The genius of enable- ment involves supporting and facili- tating the work of others. People with this genius excel at providing resources, guidance, and assistance to help others achieve their goals. They have a nurturing nature and take pleasure in helping others succeed. T enacity : The genius of tenacity is characterised by persistence, determi - nation, and resilience. Individuals with this genius possess a strong work ethic and are highly committed to seeing projects through to completion. They are reliable and steadfast, often taking on challenges with unwavering dedication. Patrick explains that out of the six, we have two styles or types that we are passionate about, we have two style that we are good at, and two styles that don’t really bring us joy, important to note that we can still action the tasks that don’t bring us joy. The assess- ment is not strictly a personality or behavioural assessment, it’s an assess - ment on our working preference, what working tasks bring us the most satisfaction. Recognising and utilising these working geniuses within teams can lead to improved collaboration and overall performance. By understanding each Team Member's unique strengths, leaders can assign tasks that align with their geniuses, fostering engage - ment and maximizing productivity. Also, encouraging individuals to leverage their working geniuses can lead to a more fulfilling and rewarding work experience for everyone involved.

Here is a summary of each of the six types: Wonder : The genius of wondering involves a natural curiosity and a desire to explore new ideas and possibilities. People with this genius excel at asking thought-provoking questions and seeking innovative solutions. They have a natural inclination to challenge the status quo and think outside the box. Invention : The genius of invention is characterised by the ability to generate new ideas and create novel solutions. Individuals with this genius possess a creative mindset and enjoy brainstorming and problem-solving. They thrive when given the freedom to innovate and develop new concepts. Discernment : The genius of discern- ment is the ability to evaluate options and make sound judgments. People with this genius have a keen sense of intuition and can quickly assess situations and identify potential risks or opportunities. They are valuable in decision-making processes and excel at weighing pros and cons. Galvanizing : The genius of galvanizing is the talent for rallying and inspiring others to act. Individuals with this genius are natural leaders who can energise and mobilise teams toward a common goal. They possess excellent communication and motivational skills
